As a new venture, this is written with trepidation and reticence at how successful we will be in the forthcoming months. From a background in business and teaching Home Economics we have ventured into the world of baskets and the beautifully produced products that Dumfries and Galloway have to offer. From the gem of an idea and many stimulating and interesting conversations later with local producers we feel that we have come up with an array of sumptuous tastes that will tempt the palette of even the hardest to please foodies. Dumfries and Galloway is often described as the lowland highlands. It is often missed as people drive past Gretna up to Edinburgh and beyond. Those who do find us visit us year after year enjoying not only the excellent hospitality but also the warm and gentle climate of the Gulf Stream. |

We are situated in the hidden hamlet of Auchenmalg, which is on the south west coast of Scotland in Luce Bay in Dumfries and Galloway.
With views of the Isle of Man and the Mull of Galloway,the most southerley point of Scotland, the gulf stream passes right thorugh this piece of Irish sea...right in front of the windows!
